This is a leather-covered horseshoe paperweight. It is one of Bob's original designs. It is made from a real horseshoe. The horseshoe is mounted on a heavy piece of leather. A lighter piece of leather is molded over the horseshoe, and the two pieces are stitched together by hand. Then the edges are trimmed and burnished. A pattern is stamped into the surface, and then a coat of leather finish is sprayed on. This particular paperweight won Best of Category at the 1999 Yavapai County, Arizona, Fair.
